Overview

Wirex BaaS onboarding follows a three-track process that runs in parallel to minimize time to market.

The Three Tracks

All tracks run simultaneously. Go-live occurs when all three tracks complete.

Track 1: Onboarding & KYB

Step 1: Initial Enquiry

1. Complete the form at wirex.typeform.com/b2b-onboarding
2. Response within 24 hours
3. If qualified, receive KYB application form

Step 2: Submit Documentation

Required Documents:

Partner Questionnaire covers:

• Business model and customer segments
• Technical requirements and expected volumes
• Compliance procedures (AML/KYC, transaction monitoring)
• Use case details and integration preferences
• Team background and experience

Step 3: Due Diligence Review (Days 8-14)

Wirex teams conduct comprehensive review:

Step 4: Approval & Kick-off

Upon approval, you receive:

• Formal onboarding approval
• Dedicated Account Manager introduction
• Sandbox API keys (for Track 2)
• Draft commercial agreement (for Track 3)
• Kick-off meeting scheduled

Track 2: Technical Integration

Begins once KYB checks are complete.

Step 1: Sandbox Access & Kick-off

You receive:

• Sandbox API keys for testing environment
• Access to Developer Portal with full documentation
• Dedicated Slack channel for real-time support
• Assigned Integration Engineer
• Code examples and integration guides

Kick-off meeting covers:

• API documentation walkthrough
• Technical architecture discussion
• Integration timeline and milestones
• Communication protocols

Step 2: Integration Development

Wirex assists as much as necessary to help you finalize integration.

Core integration phases:

Support provided:

• Real-time Slack support (<2 hour response during business hours)
• Weekly technical sync meetings
• Code reviews and architectural guidance
• Comprehensive documentation and examples
• Testing assistance and troubleshooting

Step 3: Testing & Quality Assurance

Complete testing of all functionality:

• All API endpoints functioning correctly
• Transaction flows (deposits, withdrawals, transfers)
• Webhook delivery and processing
• Error handling and edge cases
• Load testing at expected volumes
• Security audit passed

Success criteria:

Step 4: Production Readiness

Joint review confirms:

• All sandbox tests completed successfully
• Monitoring and alerting configured
• Support team trained
• Documentation complete
• Ready for production keys (pending Track 3 completion)

Track 3: Legal & Contractual

Can start once KYB is approved.

Step 1: Agreement Review

Wirex shares commercial agreement covering:

• Service scope and SLAs
• Pricing structure and fee schedule
• Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
• Compliance and AML/KYC responsibilities
• Liability, insurance, and indemnification
• Term, termination, and renewal

Step 2: Negotiation (Days 5-10)

1. Your team reviews agreement (5-7 business days recommended)
2. Submit proposed changes with rationale
3. Wirex reviews within 3-5 business days
4. Collaborative discussion to reach agreement

Step 3: Contract Execution (Days 10-14)

1. Final version circulated for approval
2. Digital signatures via DocuSign
3. Supporting documents executed (DPA, SLA, Fee Schedule)
4. Contract effective date confirmed

Go-Live Requirements

Production keys are issued when ALL three tracks complete:

Upon completion:

1. Wirex issues production environment API keys
2. Account manager confirms go-live authorization
3. Partner switches from sandbox to production
4. Launch date scheduled
